Project Spotlight: Naples Dream Pool

In the Quarry community of Naples, Florida, Beacon Outdoor Lighting had the opportunity to bring one homeowner’s dream lanai to life.

This project was all about transforming a spectacular pool and outdoor living space into a functional, luxurious nighttime retreat.

The Homeowner’s Vision

From the very start, the homeowner made it clear—outdoor lighting was paramount. He wanted his lanai and pool deck to be as enjoyable at night as during the day, with lighting that was both functional and artistic.

Our goal was to create a design that provided ample usable light while elevating the atmosphere with layers of beauty and depth.

The Lighting Design

We installed over 20 custom downlights throughout the lanai and pool deck, ensuring safe, even illumination for entertaining and relaxation. To add drama and highlight key features, we incorporated adjustable-beam accent spotlights that bring yard art and statues to life at night.

A standout feature of this project is a custom-designed mural, now enhanced with RGBW tape lighting. This lighting not only highlights the artwork but also integrates seamlessly into the pool management system. The homeowner can control it in unison with the pool lights or separately to create stunning color effects for any occasion.

Pathways, Landscape, and Ambience

Beyond the lanai, the lighting continues into the landscape. Indicator lights guide guests from the pool area toward the dock overlooking the lake. Along the way, decorative path lights softly illuminate rock features, blending safety with artistry. The scene is completed with uplighting and wall washing across surrounding trees and structures, extending the feeling of ambience and luxury well beyond the lanai itself.

The Result

The Naples Dream Pool is more than a pool project—it’s an outdoor lifestyle statement. Every detail was designed to balance function with beauty, giving the homeowner a resort-like experience every time he steps outside.
