Entry-Level Landscape Lighting Laborer
Position Overview: As an Entry-Level Landscape Lighting Laborer, your primary role will be to assist with the physical tasks involved in installing and maintaining outdoor lighting systems. This position requires hard work and a willingness to learn on the job, with less emphasis on technical skills and more focus on manual labor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the physical installation of landscape lighting, including digging trenches, placing fixtures, and running wiring.
- Help set up and move equipment and materials at job sites.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs.
- Aid in troubleshooting by following directions from more experienced technicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles, tools, and work sites.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring all equipment is ready for daily tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, digging, and working on ladders.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- No prior experience in landscape lighting required, though general labor experience is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Some tasks may require working early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on project schedules.
