Entry-Level Landscape Lighting Technician
Position Overview: As an Entry-Level Landscape Lighting Technician, you’ll assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting outdoor lighting systems. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills in low-voltage lighting and electrical work while learning the ins and outs of landscape lighting design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of low-voltage lighting systems, including placing fixtures, running wiring, and setting up transformers.
- Help with the maintenance and repair of existing lighting systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Learn to troubleshoot basic issues with lighting systems and participate in routine inspections.
- Support the team in following lighting design plans to accurately highlight architectural and landscape features.
- Keep the work area and vehicle organized, ensuring tools and equipment are clean and properly stored.
- Provide friendly and professional service to clients while on-site, assisting with any questions or concerns.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Interest in learning about low-voltage lighting and electrical systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Willingness to participate in company-provided training to develop technical skills.
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
- Some tasks may require working evenings or weekends, depending on project needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical work is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow in the field of landscape lighting.
Compensation:
