Landscape Lighting Designer/Sales

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Lighting Designer/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating stunning outdoor environments and possess a strong sales acumen. This role combines creative design with strategic sales efforts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Consultation:

  • Develop customized landscape lighting designs that meet clients’ aesthetic and functional needs.
  • Conduct on-site consultations and assess clients’ outdoor spaces to recommend appropriate lighting solutions.
  • Create detailed design plans and presentations, including product recommendations and lighting layouts.

• Sales and Customer Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates, product specifications, and project timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales in a manner that meets or exceeds company goals.

• Project Management:

  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee project progress, addressing any issues or changes as needed to maintain client satisfaction.

• Marketing and Promotion:

  • Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies to promote landscape lighting services.
  • Participate in trade shows, community events, and other promotional activities to increase brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscape lighting design and/or sales, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of lighting products, design principles, and installation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education and Experience:

• Experience in landscape lighting is a benefit but not requirement we are looking for someone with great character everything and willingness to learn everything else can be taught.
